The Octane
Point of sale

A till that already knows what you sell.

The terminal catalogue is your inventory. Every payment redraws the daily close draft, feeds the cash count and prepares the VAT breakdown line by line.

Everything you need

Built for the day-to-day of a restaurant, with no filler features.

Sells from your inventory

Your products with a sale price, and their options, already are the catalogue. There is no second menu to keep up to date.

Tables and parked bills

Tables come from your floor plan, with the open order and today's booking beside them. Park a bill and pick it up on another tablet.

Take payment and refund

Cash with its change, card on the reader, or payment from the guest's own phone. A refund travels back the way the payment came in.

The daily close, already done

Every paid order redraws the close draft. Stock only moves when you confirm it, never before.

What you can do, in detail

No smoke: this is what the module does today, exactly as you'll find it inside.

VAT per line: eating in at 8.1% and takeaway food at 2.6%
Alcohol stays at 8.1% whether it leaves or not, and any product can pin its own rate
The consumption split starts switched off: while it cannot be documented, everything is taxed at 8.1%
Cash rounded to 5 centimes, card on the reader, and card or TWINT by QR on the guest's phone
Lunch-Check, Reka and another provider's card reader get recorded so the close still balances
Receipt with the venue's VAT number, in the language you choose, printed on the networked Epson thermal printer

How it works

Three steps to get started. No installs, no complex integrations.

  1. 1

    Create your restaurant

Sign up free and set up your organization in minutes.

  2. 2

    Add your data

Load products, team or tables, whatever you need.

  3. 3

    Start operating

Work from day one with everything connected in one place.

It connects with the rest

A sale starts in inventory and ends in the daily close: the item you bought gets sold, leaves stock, and shows up in the cash count and in the VAT figures.
