Our commitment.
The Octane stores what your restaurant runs on: your account, your venue, your stock and purchasing, your team, your guests, your messages and your deliveries. The full list is below. We do not sell data, do not run advertising, and do not use your data to train AI models: the alerts, the reorder points and the assistant all run on rules and on your own data, never on an outside model. Data is hosted in a European region, and you can export or delete it at any time.
What we store
- Account
- Email, name, sign-in history and the organizations you belong to.
- Restaurant
- Venue details, team members, invitations and custom roles.
- Stock and purchasing
- Products, stock movements, recipes, suppliers, purchase orders and invoices.
- Team
- Employee records, contracts and documents, shifts, clock-ins (with the photo taken at the terminal, when identity proof is on), and payroll data including the AHV number.
- Guests
- Reservation name, email and phone, visit history and no-shows. Card details for a deposit are never stored here: they stay with Stripe as a token.
- Messages
- Team chat, its attachments and voice notes.
- Delivery
- Orders, addresses and, while a delivery is running, the rider's position.
- Hiring
- Job applications and, when a candidate verifies their identity, the result of that check. The document itself never reaches us.
- Session
- Auth tokens. No tracking cookies beyond the session.
